Locanda Dell' Arco

The wine list alone is a treat, with a huge range of Piemontese wines, from older and newer Barolo and Barbaresco to Dolcetto, Barbera, Fresia, and plenty more. There are also lots of Grappa, digestives, and other spirits for after dinner. The team, including Marco and Stefano, are so friendly and accommodating, and such a pleasure to dine with. Every plate looks beautiful, and tastes just as good, if not better. We first came during a Langhe vacation in September. On our return earlier this month, we went twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and both meals were exceptional. Every dish was spot on. This has quickly become our favorite restaurant anywhere in the world, and we hope to be back very soon. Grazie mille to the whole team at Locanda dell'Arco for making each visit feel special.

The dining room stays pleasantly quiet, even when full, with no more than a soft hum. The welcome is warm, and gets even better once the food and wine arrive. The roads are dark at night, but the drive is worth it.

The restaurant was clean, well kept, and attractive, in a lovely part of Alta Langa. The food was fine and the staff very polite, though they felt distant. With no ambient music, the quiet suited the place's mood and character. It would work well for a business meal or an early dinner before going elsewhere. A quiet, functional event overall.

The dining room is lovely, and the feel is relaxed despite the fine dining. The food was delicious and nicely presented, with a superb wine list. The English speaking host was charming and knew the menu and wines well. There are tasting menus, a la carte dishes, and daily specials. You'll need a reservation.
