I never got to stay here. Before trying to book, I emailed four times to ask for information and heard nothing back. If there was a reason we weren't a fit, such as having children or not meeting a minimum stay, they could have just told me. That would've been fine. Ignoring a potential guest is neither polite nor right.

Anna is such a cheerful, kind host. B&B Aia Vecchia has a quaint, welcoming feel, with roomy, clean rooms, a shared kitchenette, and private bathrooms. It's right in the heart of Puglia, in Cisternino, and makes a great base for exploring the region. Good value, too. I'd recommend it for a holiday or even a short work trip.

We found the location really handy for exploring the Itria Valley. Cisternino is close by, other well-known towns are only a few kilometers away, and getting to the beach doesn't take long. We stayed two nights in the first week of September 2018, and the owner was there, courteous, and helpful. Our brick room, with its mezzanine and staircase, was absolutely charming. There's free parking about 100 meters from the entrance, and guests can use a basic shared kitchen. Breakfast was plentiful, though the drinks could be better. I'd recommend the property as a base for the area, especially in September.
