Villa Campogrande

The homemade cakes Annabella serves at breakfast are a real treat, from ring cakes and tarts to custard tarts. Service is attentive, and the welcome was perfect. Just 2 km from Città della Pieve, this lovely B&B has only a few units, set among greenery, so it feels quiet and comfortable. These are fully equipped living spaces rather than studios, and they can sleep two extra guests. Every room has a balcony and is cleaned with great care. A peaceful place to unwind surrounded by nature.

The owners are attentive and very friendly, and the atmosphere feels like a family home. The rooms are lovely, and breakfast on the beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding woods was excellent. It’s less than 3 km from the center of Città della Pieve, in a lovely countryside setting, and the value is excellent.

We felt completely at home with Beppe and Annabella, as if we’d known them for years. The place is comfortable and tastefully furnished, and Annabella puts together a generous breakfast with cakes, pastries, cookies, yogurt, and more. We’ll miss Beppe’s warmth and Annabella’s sweetness.

We came for a few days of peace and time in nature, and it was just the place for that. The hosts greeted us warmly, and breakfast featured excellent local products. Our room was well kept, with a tastefully furnished terrace, and the location was quiet.
