Great atmosphere, with a lovely river right beside the place, a playground for kids, and paddle courts. Prices are good and the food is great too. The grilled meats and cold cut appetizer trays were excellent. I loved the tiramisù so much I could've eaten three portions.

The kids had fun in the playground, and we took a quick dip in the river after lunch. We left feeling refreshed and recharged before getting back on the road. The food was great quality at reasonable prices: the florentine steak was perfectly grilled, and all the different pasta dishes we tried tasted honest and great. Friendly service, clean bathrooms, and good coffee. A perfect family lunch stop while travelling through. Doesn't get better than this.

The paddle courts look well maintained, but the playground, which used to be one of the main attractions, is now a disgrace. It clearly hasn't been renovated in years: the slides and swings are broken, and the dusty area has trash scattered all over. Maybe the courts get more attention because they bring in more money. I hope someone starts caring about kids' happiness instead of only thinking about euros.

I come here often since it's my local bar and restaurant. It's family owned, with a steady staff, so it can easily become your place too. They make ciaccia, also called torta al testo, and do it really well. You pick what goes into your freshly cooked ciaccia from a long list, and you won't be disappointed. There's lots of space with amusements for children and adults, plus a shallow river to paddle in. Warm Sunday weather can bring hundreds of guests, so a quieter time might suit you better. Parking on summer Sundays is a nightmare, though that's because this really is THE place to be. Delicious, cheap, and fun.
