Country House La Casa Paterna

Rebecca and Andrea were wonderful hosts during our four-night stay at this lovely country house. The outdoor areas were well cared for and practical, including for our furry friends. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread and cakes. I also left some clothes in the closet, and they sent them to my home at no charge. Thanks for everything, and see you soon!

The homemade breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed the lunches and dinners too. It’s a peaceful place to spend time with four-legged friends, who can enjoy the fresh air and nature off leash. You could visit a different Umbrian city each day from here, but Rebecca’s elegance, Andrea’s kindness, and Elena’s warmth may make you want to stay at Casa Casa and relax instead. We’ll definitely return!

We spent seven nights here in September 2025, and the quiet was incredible. The hosts were wonderful, breakfast was fantastic, and the view from around the house was stunning. We saw deer from the window in the mornings. Our room had a minibar that was replenished daily, and the bed was so comfortable that we left the window open and didn’t need the air conditioning. The house feels cozy, with lovely old furniture and objects. We relaxed on the garden furniture by the pool. Breakfast had plenty of variety: homemade cakes fresh from the oven, delicious breads, cheeses, ham, yogurt, eggs, and more. We wholeheartedly recommend the place!

A lovely quiet base for exploring Umbria, set among the hills. I’d happily return. We enjoyed the generous breakfast, especially the superb homemade desserts, and there were savory choices too. It’s a great place to unwind and hear the birds, and the pool is worth a visit.
