Hotel Due Mori

We booked two rooms for three nights over Christmas. The location is convenient, with parking on site and the city center within walking distance. The entrance and breakfast area are quite nice, and the staff were always warm and friendly. At this price, what you get is acceptable, but the place feels like it could be much better with a little more attention to detail and a few extras, even if that meant charging a bit more. The rooms were very basic. One smelled musty, and the mini fridge in the other room was switched off. There wasn’t even a glass, and a small bottle of water would have been appreciated, as it is at most hotels. My room was missing the showerhead holder, which made showering inconvenient. Reception also closes in the evening. After hours, guests have to use a side entrance with stairs, a difficult setup for anyone with limited mobility. Breakfast was disappointing. Some basics were missing, including croissants, and the cakes were very dry. Milk alternatives weren’t available by default, though the staff brought them after we asked on the first day, which we appreciated.
