Agriturismo Ronco Albina

We were greeted so warmly by Katharina, and the villa was unlike anywhere we've stayed before. Homemade cakes, bread and cookies were included, along with a fridge full of local products. There are thoughtful details everywhere, from hand cream and flowers to chopped wood for the stoves, Nespresso capsules, snacks, a pizza oven, and all sorts of cozy touches. A passionate team looks after the villa, including young people with disabilities who care for the garden, make delicious homemade products, and provide wonderful service. Outside, there's a hot tub, sauna, and lounge, with donkeys, sheep and chickens nearby and an astonishing view. A magical, one-of-a-kind stay bringing together sustainability, inclusion, and luxury. Highly recommended!

The people really made this place stand out. Marco, Katerina, and all the farm workers were kind and generous, going out of their way to help with whatever we needed. We were a family of four and had lots of room, with space for six as well. The villa is incredible, with a stunning view, wellness facilities, lovely furnishings, and delicious, generous local produce. I'd make a special trip to stay here again.

I've stayed in lots of AirBnos, and this one is miles ahead of the rest. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a Turkish steam bath, sauna, and Whirlpool above the wine yards in Udine, looking out at the mountains. But the service is what would make me give it more than five stars. Katerina manages things and helps Marco, the owner, and she was always available, even on Christmas eve and during the holidays. We got everything we asked for and more. Breakfast food was provided, including fresh baked bread, which made it feel like a luxury hotel in a cozy mountain holiday home. It's up among the wine yards, yet Udine centre and the next town in Slovenia are both about 15 minutes away. Our 7 days there were magical and the most relaxing we've had in a long time. Thanks so much, especially Katerina. We'll definitely be back.

Villa Ronco Albina was such a treat. The well-kept villa is surrounded by lovely gardens, looking out over a picturesque valley. It's a distinctive farm stay, and the welcoming workers all help care for the property and make guests feel at home. Every detail seems covered, from fresh flowers and handwritten notes from the staff to local wines you can buy. Breakfast was generous and tasty. With enough notice, they can make dinner too. We had panna cotta and lasagna, and weeks later I'm still telling people how good they were. Having a private sauna and jacuzzi overlooking the bosco was wonderful. I can't recommend staying here more, and would travel all the way from Australia to come back.
