Really great!

The only thing going for the place was its location, fairly close to both the sea and the center. Laura, who greeted us, was very kind, and since we had only one vacation day and were short on time, we decided to stay anyway. It turned into a terrible experience, though, and I wouldn't recommend it. We were two people staying for one night. I want to be clear that we were at number 156, not 63. Booking.com and other sites showed the number 63 and its photos, which looked much better, so I hadn't seen pictures of the apartments we actually got. I booked directly to make things easier for the owner, for roughly the same price, and agreed to a room with a shared bathroom for €50 each. It already seemed expensive, but I confirmed because we were in a hurry. By the time we arrived, the shared-bathroom rooms had sold out. They charged us €70 each in cash for a run-down, tiny prefab building that was badly maintained. I had to insist on an invoice, which I plan to have checked. There was no bidet, the walls were damaged all over, the bathroom had just one window, and the roof looked like it might be coming down. There was no living area. It was supposedly for three people, but the double and single beds barely fit the two of us. I can't imagine three people managing. It wasn't clean either, and we found other people's clothes in the drawers. That evening, while we were having dinner, they contacted us to ask us to switch on the courtyard light from our apartment because that was the only way to get any light. €140 is what a three- or four-star hotel with breakfast costs.

We waited well over an hour and still couldn't check in, yet we were left out of pocket by more than €400. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Having this happen during a vacation was disgusting, and I'm going to try to take legal action. The courtyard was awful, with shopping carts and debris. The photos in the listing were completely different from what was actually there. When we arrived, there was no reception, only a doorbell. We waited, then called the number they gave us. An aggressive Italian man yelled into the phone and hung up straight away. We booked through booking.com, but they weren't willing to help either. It's outrageous that this place calls itself a hotel. Absolute scam! Stay away. Not recommended. 0/10.
