Locanda Fontezoppa

The location is wonderful, the staff were great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted, and we placed the order the night before. I would recommend the hotel, though a couple of things let it down. The bed was uncomfortable, with a noticeable dip or hole on one side. The restaurant food was good, but the mashed potatoes and beef lacked flavor.

Beautiful landscape, great wine, and a lovely Italian view. The tasting came with a nice selection of Italian cheeses and cold cuts. Delicious. If you like wine, it’s a must-visit.

The view of the winery and old town is amazing, and the local food is top quality.

The setting is nice and breakfast was very good, but the noise was unacceptable. A party in the restaurant and terrace downstairs kept us awake until 2am. The place was crowded, and the music was so loud we could hear it clearly the whole time in our room. We didn’t expect that from an agriturismo tucked into the countryside. I complained to the staff, who apologized and said they’d pass the comment on to the owners, but I haven’t heard anything since.
