Anna on the staff was very nice and let me check in early, so I could nap after being awake all night on the flight. The room was clean, though pretty worn out. It reminded me of the kind of room I had when I first went to college. Still, the price is hard to beat.

The stairs weren't much trouble, even with my heavy suitcase. It's ideally situated close enough to the train station that I could roll it there.

The location is great, and the room was okay, but there was a leak overnight. My socks got soaked when I went to the bathroom. I think rain caused it, though I'm not sure. Outside, people were talking loudly and doors were slamming until 2 a.m.

We stayed for two nights in September 2022 before our cruise, and I'd happily come back when sailing from Civitavecchia. The owner, a sweet Italian woman, made us feel at home and answered all our questions. Our room, Neptune, was small but clean, cute, and comfortable. It looked out onto a piazza that gets lively in the evening, with lovely little family-run Italian restaurants. The B&B is right in the piazza, so a cab can't reach the front door, but it's only a short walk from the main road. One thing to keep in mind: there's no elevator, so stairs could be an issue for anyone with mobility difficulties. I'm a travel agent and would be glad to refer clients here.

The location is good, but the room is tiny and not well maintained. The Wi-Fi password ends with the three letters "AL’E". I couldn't type that on my phone keyboard, and copying and pasting didn't work either. It felt almost impossible for foreign travelers.
