Gallery Suite

After dinner and drinks, I was glad we had a few extra minutes to walk back from the beach through town. The charming lanes, restaurants, local boutiques, and rich culture made that walk the highlight of the night. Our hostess was warm and accommodating, and her helpful information made our short stay smooth. Gallery Suites was an ideal stop before our cruise from Civitavecchia. It’s right in the heart of town, within a short walk of everything, and a perfect introduction to what the town has to offer.

The rooms were beautiful and well equipped, and the AC and shower both worked well, which felt like a luxury around here. In the morning there was a nice little breakfast, with an attendant to make coffee and the like. The staff were kind and attentive, and even booked us a wonderful taxi to the port for cruise morning. We stayed the night before our cruise and it worked out really well. The train station is about a 12-minute walk away. With big luggage in the heat, it can be tiring, though doable. There were also plenty of taxis at the station, which we’d definitely recommend.

Valentina and Milena were so kind and helpful, and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept, and breakfast the next morning was delicious with lots of choice. We stayed the night before our cruise, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the trip. Highly recommend!

Milena even sorted out a taxi for us the next day, which was a big help. We stayed one night at Gallery Suite while passing through Civitavecchia, and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great too. Milena is one of the best hosts I've met in all my travels. I'd stay at Gallery Suite again without a second thought.
