B&B Il Fondaco del Moro

It was so quiet that we hardly saw anyone around, which I actually liked. There are olive groves around the castle and somewhere to wander in peace. The cathedral is active too. We heard the bell each hour, and there was a service at 5 p.m. Breakfast was a standard continental spread with some fruit. We'd booked this place by accident while driving from Belarus toward Rome, and you do need a car to get here. Still, it was such a cool place, almost like staying in a castle. Our room was in excellent condition, with air conditioning, a kettle, water, some treats, and even a fireplace with candles. There were a few minor drawbacks, but they hardly mattered. For the price, the advantages easily outweighed any downsides. I really loved it, an 11 out of 10, and would probably spend a vacation here if I could.

Parking is available about a 3-minute walk away, and the price made this a real bargain. My wife and I had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean, and check-in and check-out were easy. I couldn't get the thermostat working even after following the instructions, so we opened the windows for fresh air instead. We'd definitely recommend the place.

The only downside was having to leave at 10. We would have liked more time to sit on the tiny rooftop balcony, though the peaceful olive garden is there for relaxing afterward. We loved the apartment: check-in was easy, it was very clean, and they provided coffee, tea, cold water, and sweets. Such a fantastic spot to unwind!

We always had a lovely view from the balcony, and the rooms felt thoughtfully arranged. The staff have been kind and helpful whenever we've had a question. It's a private, secluded place with a town just a few miles away if you need one. A lovely spot for beautiful, quiet, peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended.
