I'm reviewing the restaurant here because the site only lets me post once. For the room review, see a certain bed and breakfast .it web site. Some of the dishes worked well, while others didn't. The battuta was fresh and good, like the other ones we've had in Piemonte. The Gelà Monfrà, which was supposed to be the same meat, didn't seem fresh, and the person who ate it got food poisoning. It looked as if it had been kept in the fridge for a while, perhaps made earlier or the day before. The Verdure in saor tasted good, though it wasn't quite cooked through. There was still a little white floury liquid visible when we cut into it. The Cavolfiore in tortino was okay, but we probably wouldn't order it again. The people who had the Plin Arost said they were great, and the wine got the same praise. The COSTATA FROLLATA 30 GG cost over 100 euros and wasn't a good deal, since about half of it was bone. The staff, though, were very nice.

The ambiance and service were fantastic, and the gelato was mind-blowing. We had dinner for two and really enjoyed the evening. The food was good, though not great. Definitely worth a visit, even just for the ice cream.

After seven hours on the motorcycle, we got a very friendly welcome from the owner. The rooms are cozy, with lots of dark wood, and jumping into the pool was a great bonus after riding all day in weather above 35 degrees. We found plenty of parking. The in-house restaurant had great food and an upscale feel, even though the prices were very accessible. Breakfast was included, and while there wasn't the wide range you might expect at a hotel, it was high quality and more than enough. Quality over quantity. I'd recommend it as a stop on a motorcycle trip through Piemont, or as a base for a couple of days of day trips.

We often stay in Cocconato, and Cascina Rosengana has become one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is far more extensive than the one on the website, and everything we tried was delicious, with exemplary service. You can tell this is a real family business, with a lot of love put into the food. It's a great experience. They also have a well-stocked wine shop and give good advice about what to choose. We'll be back soon with family and friends. I don't usually write restaurant reviews, but this place deserves the praise.
