Domus Liberius

The room was bright, spacious, and spotless, and we especially appreciated the bottle of champagne for my friend's birthday. We were happy with everything, from booking and communication to the service and price, during our two-night stay. Thanks to all the staff at Domus Liberus. We can't wait to come back! 🙂🥰

We spent a few nights here, but most of our time was out sightseeing or visiting family. The room was large, though getting to it felt like a maze. Online, they show the good-looking room photos, but our experience didn't match what was presented. The coffee or common area they talk about wasn't clean or well equipped. Their automated texts were annoying too, since they asked me the same questions several times. I wouldn't recommend this place for families with kids or older couples. If you're on your own and just need a bed and pillow, perhaps it could work. I wish I had something positive to say. At least our other hotels in Rome and Venice were good. I also wish Expedia had let me cancel, even though I bought the insurance they offered. Apparently you can only cancel if someone has died or has Covid, and you have to provide medical paperwork. I'm never paying that extra $20 to Expedia again.

The staff were so kind that I felt welcome as soon as I arrived in Rome. It was my first solo trip to Europe and I was nervous, but staying here made the trip much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend it ☺️ For the price, the location is very good. Like a lot of buildings in Rome, the property is a bit old, and I had the smallest room, so the condition wasn't the best. Still, I was comfortable throughout my stay: there was an elevator, three secure gate doors, working AC, and no bugs.

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were welcoming and very nice. It's well placed for both public transport and the attractions. I was very satisfied.
