The rooftop spa was a real highlight, very cozy and wonderfully relaxing. The hotel itself is lovely, traditional, and extremely well cared for. Rooms were spotless. One thing to know if you have feather allergies: the bedding and pillows are duck down. After four breakfasts, it seemed the restaurant might not work well for vegans or people with food intolerances. Allergens aren't labelled, and plant-based milk or yogurt alternatives aren't displayed. Soya milk is available if requested, but only in a small jug for coffee. Guests with specific dietary needs may find it easier to bring their own alternatives. This is a traditional family-run hotel and doesn't seem set up for more modern dietary needs. If you're on a prepaid half-board package, don't assume your requirements can be met, even if a travel agent has said they can. My fellow travellers enjoyed breakfast and meals at the sister hotel in the village. I'm sharing this as useful information for guests with allergies, not as a criticism of food quality.

The hotel is in a great spot, an easy walk from the shops, cafes and slopes. The staff were attentive, courteous and helpful, and the decor was tasteful, with lovely art throughout. I especially liked the welcoming living room, with its fire and soft furnishings, and the beautiful room. The toiletries provided were above and beyond. Breakfast had lots of choices, and they carefully accommodated my dietary requirements. I didn't have time to try the spa on this trip, but I can't wait to go back. 100% recommend.

We spent seven nights here in mid-February for cross-country skiing and climbing. The suite in Maison Rene was cozy and comfortable, and the parking pass covered several lots. We could walk to the skiing and all the shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Sarah, Giulia, and Andre for such great service. We had several flight and baggage problems before arriving, and the staff replied quickly to emails about our arrival changes. They were especially understanding about the delayed bags and got our one set of clothes laundered quickly. Breakfast was delicious, and drinks and snacks by the fireplace in the evening were lovely. A dreamy inn.

The accommodation we were given was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh local products. The staff were courteous, friendly, helpful, and spoke several languages. For a three-star hotel, it deserves an extra star for the welcome, cleanliness, service and quality. We'd love to come and stay again.
