The setting is the first thing that stayed with me: peaceful countryside, far from city bustle, with memorable views and animals like horses, ducks, and goats. The old-style houses give the place a feeling of stepping back several decades, which adds to its charm. There are long, flat cycling routes nearby, and Milan is close enough for a day out, with direct train access to its landmarks and culture. The owners were courteous and helpful, and there were no unpleasant surprises or extra costs. Parking is plentiful, and you can safely store and charge electric cars and bikes. A new pool is due to open in mid-April. It's a lovely place to get away and enjoy nature, with recreation, modern conveniences, and historic character all together.

Our room was comfortable for spring in Lake Como, with a good bed, strong shower, and a fully equipped kitchen in the Margherita room that was handy for cooking Italian food. The hospitality, facilities, and location were all great. We had a bottle of wine from the host, which was kind, though we didn't drink it. We also noticed the heater payment mentioned in the information file, but Paolo reassured us there'd be no charge, and we weren't charged, perhaps because it was spring. The view of Como and the surrounding mountains was breathtaking, especially Monte Legnone. There are plenty of nearby walks, including a riverside stroll connected to Como. A big shopping mall is quite close, with a smaller Conad nearby too. One driving tip: watch out for the gravelly hump if you're coming in a Fiat 500 or another low car. We'd definitely come again.

The apartments are spacious and well maintained, with a lovely view. The location is beautiful, and the staff are super friendly. I'd happily stay here again.

The cottages sit on a hill in a quiet area, with lovely views and plenty of opportunities for walks. They're well maintained and equipped with all the amenities. The host was extremely friendly.

We only had two nights here at the end of our holiday, and I wish we'd stayed longer. It was so peaceful, and my daughter loved the pool overlooking the valley. The local town is only ten minutes away, but the place still felt remote. I'd definitely come back for a longer stay.
