The pool was lovely, and the view made the stay really enjoyable. The apartment, though, was very bare on essentials. There wasn't any toilet paper or towels, for example.

The apartment has nearly everything you need, and the view is stunning. Just watch your head at the low front door. Wi-Fi is available, but it's too slow for Netflix. Getting down to the lake takes a while, and the steep uphill walk back is a workout. I'd happily return, though there are so many lovely places around here that it's hard to choose.

The view was fantastic, and the rooms are laid out well. The garden is also beautifully kept. But when we arrived, the apartment hadn't been cleaned and had a strong musty smell. The pool was covered with algae, so we couldn't or didn't want to swim, and the Wi-Fi wasn't working.

The house was clean, and the owner gave us a warm welcome. We booked within the year and had no complaints. A bit of basic German helps, since English and Italian don't always get you far :)

La Bellavista has wide views of the Alps and sits high above Colico. It's a clean, affordable holiday apartment with a pool. The lakeside promenade and restaurants are about three kilometers away.
