Agriturismo La Pieve

We loved La Pieve so much that we added an extra night. It felt like a peaceful Tuscan dream, and we’d definitely return next time we’re in the region. Warm greetings to Daniela, and thank you for creating such a special place. We stayed at the end of April in an apartment that was perfect for a couple. It had everything for cooking, several kinds of coffee machines, and cozy spaces inside and out. Our favorite spot was the open-air rooftop terrace, where we had breakfast overlooking the hills. The restored historic building and lovely garden with olive trees were beautiful. Daniela and her family have renovated the place with care and passion, and Daniela herself was professional and welcoming.

La Pieve was a lovely place to spend a few quiet days in one of Tuscany’s best corners. We wanted to stay in Val d'Elsa with easy access to Siena, and Daniela welcomed us into one of her apartments. Olive trees surround the house 🫒, and after all the rain during our visit, everything was beautifully green. We’d swim early in the morning and explore the valley later in the day. If we’re back in the area, we’d gladly spend more time here.

La Pieve was perfectly placed for our trips from Montepulciano up to Florence, and the saltwater pool among the olive trees was an extra treat on hot days. Daniela went out of her way to help us enjoy Tuscany, from arranging dinner reservations at Arnolfo (2-star Michelin) to the amenities and treats in our cottage. We also loved the delicious meal served on our private patio. One of our best vacations ever!

Much nicer than we expected. It’s very quiet, and the host was professional and helpful. We’d definitely come back.
