Bardeggiano - Caterina 1

If there were a six-star option, I’d give it that.

From here, it’s easy to reach many of the characteristic spots in the Siena countryside. We stayed in Apartment Caterina 2, which had plenty of space, but the bathroom and kitchen need work and much of the house could use a refresh. The electrical system and WiFi weren’t adequate either. More attention to the details would make a stay in this beautiful property much more enjoyable.

The setting is wonderfully quiet, though the town center is still easy to get to, and it’s a good base for Tuscan villages and cities. The farmhouse itself is enchanting, with a well-kept park and a pool among the lawns and trees. Our apartment was comfortable and had what we needed. The owner was very kind and helpful, as were the people who greeted us and the cleaning and maintenance staff. I’d happily recommend it ☺️

We spent a week here with our little one and came away delighted. The calm of this enchanting place was just what we wanted for a vacation. Parking was shaded, which mattered a lot in August with a small child, and the pool was a real treat, with loungers kept in good shape. Our apartment was clean and fully equipped, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Mariangela gave us a lovely welcome and was always there when we needed anything. We really enjoyed meeting her and hope to come back soon. Thank you for everything! ❤️ Greetings to our wonderful hostess from Chantal, Thomas, and Davidson.
