We had only three nights at Cesa Dele Angele and Colle Santa Lucia, and wished we could have stayed longer. I really hope to come back. The view from one of the three balconies over the mountains and meadow was breathtaking, and we loved having coffee each morning at the bar/hotel across the road while listening to the locals chat. It had a lovely community feel. Raffaella was delightful, quick to respond, and couldn't do enough to help. The home is unique, entirely wood inside, modern but traditional, and tastefully decorated. It was spotless and very comfortable, with a sauna in the bathroom that my husband and I used each night after long hikes. The bed was very comfortable, a first for Italy! On arrival the fridge had juice, milk, water, and yogurt, plus a basket of condiments and delicious homemade plum jam. It's by far the nicest holiday accommodation we've ever stayed in.

Raffaella is lovely and made sure we had what we needed, including a very good breakfast. We had a great family stay, and the beds were comfortable. The balconies had beautiful views, and the location was excellent. The shower cubicles are really small, as earlier reviews mention, though we managed for a few nights. The other drawback was the very poor Wi-Fi, barely okay for social media and definitely not suitable for serious work. Free parking is right beside the pension. Booking directly through the website and email got us a bit of a better deal than the official booking portals.

We only had a short stay, in a lovely ground-floor room with a spacious bathroom that was accessible to disabled guests. The property was welcoming and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent in a friendly atmosphere. Every room's balcony looks out over meadows, Pelmo, and Civetta, with enchanting views. Colle S. Lucia is quieter than nearby towns in the Cadore and Ampezzo regions, yet has just as many hiking opportunities. The peace and quiet are unsurpassed.

We arrived at the property at the last minute a few days ago, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's welcoming, the quality for the price is perfect, and our room had an exceptional view of Mount Pelmo. The Garnì is family-run. I spoke with the owner, who was incredibly kind and helpful, and since we have motorcycles, she even let us use the garage. Thank you so much! It's definitely worth coming back.
