We were really looking forward to our stay, but left very disappointed. The people were lovely and the views were breathtaking, yet the accommodation was extremely poor. The rooms were basic, the beds creaked and felt uncomfortable, and even the pullout couldn’t be used as a bed. The dining didn’t match what other reviewers had described, though maybe we just caught it on an off day. I can’t honestly recommend staying here.

The traditional dinner was very good, and I’d suggest booking half board. It’s a charming place with simple, practical rooms. We brought the kids, but there wasn’t much for them to explore, so it may suit a couple’s romantic getaway better.

Matteo made us feel at home from the start, and we even got an upgrade to a room with a breathtaking sea view. We had a wonderful two days at Agriturismo Case Tabarani. The food was extraordinary, the most authentic and best we had in sicily. Antonella is lovely and puts so much care into her cooking. We also enjoyed evening conversations with Matteo and Antonella about the region, its produce, and the history of the Casa Tabarani. Thanks for making us so welcome. We’ll be back!

The sunsets were stunning, and the food was truly amazing. Such lovely people and a great dog. My son, my mother, and I all wished we could have stayed longer.
