Agriturismo Villa San Giò

The new management really did all they could to make our stay a good one, and we’ll be back. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The apartments were clean and simple, with everything you need, even room to cook, though we didn’t. We did make the most of the great aperitivo.

The pool feels like something from a five-star hotel, and the breakfasts were great, all made with locally sourced ingredients. The staff were always friendly and attentive to what we needed, with a special thanks to Frank, Marion and Tanya (in alphabetical order). We’ll be back soon. Villa San Giovanni is less than an hour from Rome, and from there the views across Sabina are spectacular. I could never get tired of them. To me, Sabina is far more beautiful than Tuscany, whose beauty has become a little stereotyped. The accommodation has all the comforts and everything you need to feel at home.

Marion, who runs the place, was even more courteous and helpful than we expected. It’s a wonderful spot to unwind and recharge, with nature all around and nothing but its sounds to hear. The pool and its panoramic view are perfect for relaxing. A little corner of paradise.

There’s a little 16th-century chapel here, along with panoramic terraces looking out over beautiful Sabina and plenty of spots to relax. It feels more like a small village than a regular agriturismo. We were visiting friends last week and got to discover and enjoy this spacious little corner of paradise. Since June, the place has been run by professional, kind people who live in and love the area. You can really tell when people care about what they do. Everything was peaceful and clean, and our apartment was spacious, fully furnished, and had some lovely pieces. The attentive service, kindness, and family feel rounded it all off. A great place to discover the best of Italy, and highly recommended.
