La Stazione (Adults Only)

I had to make a last-minute request, and Cinzia/Federico kindly found a way to welcome me that evening. They’re the best part of this BnB, so warm and generous, always available, and lovely to talk with. They shared delicious products, too. The place is right across from the train station, but the recent renovation and sound insulation mean you don’t hear the trains. My room was spotless, modern, comfortable, and warm in winter and cool in summer, with a beautiful bathroom. It has the comforts of a hotel and the coziness of a well-kept home. Monselice is a fun town for a couple of evenings, with lots of good hikes nearby. I had to leave in a rush on my last morning, but next time I’m in the area I’ll be back for a relaxed breakfast.

The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well equipped with everything you need. The owners are welcoming and give you all the information you need, and they’re always close by since they live on the property. It’s right opposite the train station, which explains the name “La Stazione.” The property is brand new, and this would be my first choice whenever I’m in Monselice.

Cinzia and Federico welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. We spent two nights there with our one-year-old, and they treated us like royalty, providing everything we needed and more. Even when they weren’t around, we could use the fully equipped kitchen. Inside, the historic building feels modern and brand new, with lots of technology, a very comfortable bed, and a roomy shower. It was such a peaceful stay. The hosts are delightful to chat with, and they even invited us to try their homemade saffron risotto. The B&B is opposite the station and just a short walk from the historic center. A real winner, highly recommended!

The location is especially handy if you’re travelling by train, with Padua practically next door and Venice a short distance away. I highly recommend it.
