Villa Lussana

I found this hotel by chance and am so glad I got to stay. It's in a lovely old villa with an amazing view, and there's a restaurant next door serving top-quality food. The hotel was clean, and the manager was absolutely lovely, helpful, and organized everything we needed. I'll definitely come back with my family.

Andrea was very helpful, and breakfast was good for the price. The location is lovely with great views, and the rooms were fine. The beds were comfortable, though the twin beds need to be joined to make a double because they kept moving apart. It would be nice if the upstairs terrace were cleaned and had a sunshade.

The view was perfect, but this was an unpleasant stay and not worth 100€. There wasn't even a front desk. When I tried to open the window, it wouldn't open easily, and there was nobody responsible to help. There wasn't a phone in the room to call anyone either. We had just one roll of toilet paper for two adults, and no bidet. When we went to ask about it, nobody in charge was there. The shower was partly broken, with no one around to ask for help. The bed was two small single beds pushed together, not one large bed.

Marco, the owner and hotel manager, looked after us attentively and was ready to help with whatever we needed. The room we were promised was there, it was spotless, and we arrived expected, with no surprises. It's a well-managed hotel and a very satisfying stay. We wanted to visit Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Mantua, and Venice without changing hotels, and Hotel Villa Lussana made a good base. Those places are all within 30-60 minutes, and we also got to enjoy the Veneto countryside and the beautiful surrounding mountains. I'd have no hesitation recommending it.
