We weren't expecting much, but this turned out to be a very good hotel. The welcome was really polite, and they offered us complimentary water when we arrived. Everyone we met there was friendly. The rooms are nicely designed, clean, and kept at a comfortable temperature.

We only planned to stay one night on our way through, but ended up booking four. Our daughter and her husband came for one night too, then decided to stay for two. Eleonora at reception and the whole staff were excellent, and the owners gave us such a warm welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, with A/C that we appreciated in summer. Dinner was a treat: I had the best fish carpaccio ever, and the risotto was excellent. There's private parking too. Definitely five stars from us, highly recommended.

Villa Manzoni is a real gem. My colleague and I stayed four nights on a work trip in northern Italy, and I'd happily return. The decor and bedrooms were fantastic, and we thought the restaurant was superb. The people were the real highlight, professional, friendly, and relaxed. Angelo and his team have created something special. A presto!
