Our 12-day trip through Italy ended on a high at Villa Clementina near Colonno on Lake Como. It was the highlight of the journey. The team handled every request with real dedication, from arranging private transfers from Milano Centrale Station to getting our Venice souvenirs delivered quickly, in less than a week. Richard was a gracious, attentive host, and the front desk staff were friendly. They explained the villa's facilities in English and Italian, which made us feel at home. The villa is about 15 minutes from the ferry pier for Bellagio and Tremezzo. Ask reception and Richard can take you there in a mini golf cart in just two minutes, a real treat. We had a top-floor Villa Clementina suite with a panoramic lake view. Seeing Lake Como change through the day was magical. There's also a lovely 10-meter pool and jacuzzi right by the water. The food was a highlight too. Fruit and vegetables come from the villa's own garden, literally zero kilometers from garden to table. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and there was a light snack menu during the day. The dinner menu was thoughtfully put together, and every meal felt special. We can't recommend Villa Clementina enough and can't wait to return.

The dinners were delicious, and each night had a different menu. We also had some of the best croissants we've ever eaten at breakfast. Villa Clementina's facilities, food and drinks, and staff were all incredible. The rooms are elegant, and though the price is high, especially once you add meals and drinks, I still think it was money well spent. It's in a quiet town, so it's useful to understand what's nearby and how to get around the lake. We had no trouble arriving by bus, arranging a private boat tour, and getting back.

What made our stay at Villa Clementina special was the staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home and gave us such warm, personal care. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a boutique feel. Highly recommend it if you're after a special stay on Lake Como.

Richard was such a gracious host at Villa Clementina and treated us like family. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon this past week, and the scenery, staff, and location went beyond what we expected. The restaurant was spectacular, with the best meal we had during our time in Italy. An unforgettable stay all around, and I can't recommend it enough.

The rooms were great, and we spent plenty of time by the pool. My family and I had an amazing stay at Villa Clementina. The caring, attentive staff made us feel special and easily helped us sort out transport, parking, and reservations. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como.
