Club Del Sole Spina Family Collection

We had a wonderful family holiday at Club Del Sole lido di Spina, and we'd recommend it to anyone. The staff were so kind and helpful when my husband fell during our stay. Thank you all.

The mobile home was very good, with great facilities and a big terrace, and we could park right in front. The beach is directly by the campsite, and the staff were very nice and helpful. We stayed for five days. The first three were fine with just a few mosquitoes, but the last two were awful. There were so many that we couldn't even sit on the terrace. That was the only downside.

We had such an unpleasant stay that we left a day early. We paid €1580 for 8 days at a campsite that felt noisy, overcrowded, and much too big for the facilities. We booked the superior camp lodge based on website pictures showing renovated cottages with 3D animation, but got a worn, dated cottage. The veranda was nice and tidy. Inside, the beds were awful to sleep on, with the metal springs pressing into our backs. Cleaning was poor too: yellow toilet interiors, dead squashed mosquitoes, hair and dust under the beds, stains on the walls, and dirty, moldy sealant in the shower. The fridge was far too small for four people. The chairs, inside and out, were uncomfortable hard plastic, not somewhere to relax after putting the kids to bed. There were practical things missing as well: scissors, a paring knife for fruit, a microwave, a coffee maker, trivets, and more cutlery. Four sets weren't enough. The adventure park restrooms were filthy and needed better cleaning. The bar staff worked very hard but seemed stressed and unable to keep up with the number of guests. Food and drink prices could be lower. The pool was already too crowded for the size of the campsite, and outside guests shouldn't be allowed in. The water looked dirty and cloudy. The slides closed in the afternoon even though the pool stayed open, and the supermarket did too. The beach setup made little sense: the side with loungers and umbrellas was empty all day, and you couldn't walk into the sea there because rocks blocked access. Meanwhile the other side was overcrowded with no loungers. Guests had to pay for beds on a beach where they couldn't get into the water. There were good parts. The little train to the beach ran back and forth without a wait, and the climbing park was fun with relaxed, super friendly staff. Still, no more Club Del Sole for us.

The place is clean, well-kept, and organized, and the pool makes the visit even nicer. Service was outstanding. The lifeguards especially stood out: they were always around, attentive, and professional, which made adults and children feel safe and at ease. A perfect day to relax and enjoy some quality time. Highly recommended!
