I Trepponti

For €90, I expected a bit more from breakfast, which was just dry biscuits and packaged croissants. I only stayed one night in September. The room was clean and nicely equipped, but there was a single toilet roll with no spare, and the shower towels were as small as hand towels. I didn't meet the owner; she was friendly on the phone, though I can't say I was welcomed either warmly or badly.

For one night, 90 euros is a lot, especially when the payment was just left in the room and there was no receipt or acknowledgement. We never saw the owner during our stay; she had left the key in a little box beside the door with a code. The homemade breakfast was supposed to be included, but there was no coffee pod for the machine, and the pantry only had a few packaged biscuits and pastries, so we ended up having breakfast at the bar. I'm sorry, but I don't think this is how a hospitality business should be run.

The apartment was spacious and quiet, with free parking, and made a good base for trips around the area. We had bicycles with us, so it suited us well. There was no balcony, garden, or city view. We were looking for a self-catering place, including breakfast, but breakfast wasn't provided or offered, so perhaps ask about that. We only contacted the owner through WhatsApp and never met in person.

The location was great for seeing the area, with the historic center of Comacchio only a five-minute walk away. My family and I spent a week there in August and really enjoyed it. Azzurra and Chiara were welcoming and professional, the room was clean, and breakfast was plentiful and well prepared.
