The place was clean and nice, but it cost too much. Utility charges were extremely high, 0.80 cents per kW, and there was no air conditioning. They can provide a penguin on request, but it doesn’t cool the space. Prices also don’t vary between families with the season as they should.

The house was truly beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location, which could have made this a five-star stay. Unfortunately, the agency staff weren’t friendly or helpful at all, and the electricity consumption was too high.

The apartment itself was nice and clean, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s on the main road and very noisy, and the areas around it are poorly maintained. There’s a balcony facing east onto the road and another to the south with a grill, but that side gets unbearably hot in the afternoon. There’s no air conditioning, so it was hard to sleep, especially with neighbors smoking downstairs. There’s no Wi-Fi, the TV is tiny, and the parking space in front is overgrown. Before the trip, communication was a disaster. They couldn’t speak English or German, and someone only spoke German when we arrived, too late to help. We waited a week for answers and still didn’t get all our questions addressed. Had it been described properly before booking, we wouldn’t have chosen it. We were meant to leave by 10:00 AM, but the cleaners were already there at 9:00. Electricity and water cost €50 for two weeks, even though we barely cooked. We only used the two fans, because without them we would have been dead. The beach is 1500m away. At the Thaiiti restaurant, we paid €37 for a table for two families. Hospitality at Lido delle Nazioni deserves two stars, in my view. I think the good times are long gone.

The accommodation on Via Mare Adriatico in Lido Pomposa is comfortable and close to the beach and amenities. The street is perhaps too central, since it gets closed almost every evening for markets or as a pedestrian area. There are always illegal street vendors by the gate, sometimes leaning on the entrance itself. That’s annoying and can feel intimidating or embarrassing when you’re eating in the ground-floor garden. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

We paid 1400.00 euros for 15 days, from 11.08 to 25.08, plus 100 for the deposit and 50 for cleaning, but we’re unhappy with the stay. The house at Mediterranean residence i 21, via Berlinguer was clean and fairly new, but there was no air. It was so hot we had to keep the air conditioning on day and night, and the electricity bill ended up very high. We raised this with the agency at the start, and they said we’d split the electricity cost, but that never happened.
