I don’t often leave negative reviews, but what happened at Hotel Globus City was so baffling that I have to share it. I arrived to meet a group of hotel residents who had set up a meeting in the atrium. While I waited, the receptionist said I couldn’t sit in the bar area. I explained I was waiting for hotel guests, but was told that was the policy. It felt needlessly rigid and frankly absurd. The manager came over soon after and tried to explain what I can only call the ridiculousness of the policy. He eventually let me sit in the bar, then came back about five minutes later to ask for my ID. By then, the atmosphere already felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When the rest of my group arrived and I told them what had happened, we decided to leave. The whole vibe was off, and it didn’t seem like a place for business meetings, social gatherings, or any kind of professional hospitality. I’ve never been treated worse in a hotel. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it for business, meetings, or social occasions.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the wellness area with its pool and sauna was very good. My room and the service were both nice too. There’s ample parking, even if you’re arriving in a large vehicle, and the hotel is handy for the highway, restaurants, and shops. Really good value for the money.

We had such a lovely stay, even though there wasn’t time to try the spa. The rooms were really comfortable and the hotel itself is beautiful. Everyone was kind and generous with their help. Thanks to receptionist Eran for being so thoughtful, and to the bartender for being so sweet. ☺️ grazie mille

At €150 a night, a room that was 27.5 C when I arrived just wasn’t acceptable. I booked two nights, but I’m leaving tomorrow morning and won’t recommend the hotel or come back. The front desk said opening the windows was all they could suggest, and even with them open it was still 27 C at 20:30. The hotel looked nice, was clean, and the staff were kind, but it didn’t have the air conditioning its website says it has.
