The location is ideal for skiing, and the staff are friendly, but the hotel itself felt cold, dim, and badly in need of maintenance. The stair lights are switched off at night, so you need your phone to see, and at dinner only one of five lights was on. The walls and doors are thin, the room was chilly, the window was cracked, and the sheet cover was torn. The heavy curtains did block the light, and the beds were firm. The room was clean. Breakfast was very limited: hard-boiled eggs only, steamed ham, one kind of salami, and one hard cheese. There were at least three cats, including in the dining area, so anyone with allergies should avoid the place. Drink prices weren't displayed, and being charged €3 for a small glass of Coke or Fanta poured from a bottle at checkout left me feeling ripped off. We booked a package with half-board and ski passes without reading the reviews, which was a big mistake. Honestly, I won't be back. The hotel isn't worth the money.

The view, location, and easy parking were all good. The hotel itself, though, was a mess. Maybe it deserved four stars ten years ago, but it doesn't now. At this price, I'd expect a clean room, a shower curtain without mold, and decent breakfast food. It might have been acceptable for half the price.

We were turned away from breakfast, even coffee, in a rude way when we arrived 20 minutes before it ended. There wasn't much to miss anyway, just bread and jam as far as we could see. We also hadn't been told in advance that the pool, spa, and sauna cost extra and were open for only a few limited hours. The people who checked us in weren't dressed appropriately for a four-star hotel, and staying there felt more like being at a motel. A very bad experience, and not worth its four-star rating. Don't stay here.

Why are you being so toxic? I'm friends with guests who weren't happy with this hotel, and you still haven't answered my question. How can there be more reviews than guests last week? Did you buy reviews?

We spent six nights here as a family and had a wonderful stay. The staff were always ready to help with what we needed, and our room was spacious with a lovely view. Parking on site was easy, and the location worked perfectly as a base for visiting the Dolomiti. Breakfast was wonderful every day. John D
