The location was great, parking was easy, and everything inside was very clean and updated. The place itself was beautiful. We made the best of the stay, though we were disappointed to learn there was no breakfast and that pool access cost an extra €45 per person for two hours. Even our five-year-old son was charged €45.

We went to the wellness centre and had an excellent massage. At reception, though, the bald man made fun of me for speaking only English and not Italian.

We had a relaxing short stay, and our two little dogs were welcomed so warmly. I'm especially grateful for that. The owners have made this place charming and lovely, and they were so kind and welcoming. Everything was immaculately clean and thoughtfully furnished, with all the things we needed. Breakfast was superb, compliments to the chef. Highly recommended!

The apartment itself was lovely, a real gem, but the whole experience left us disappointed, and we won't be returning or recommending it. At first the owners were kind and helpful. We booked because the listing had a pool and, especially, a spa. After we'd paid, we found out the spa cost extra. We were disappointed, so that lost a star. The garden also had a small pool, a small hot tub, and a wonderful outdoor sauna, but the sauna was off and never turned on. We were told it smoked and could bother guests, but that they could switch it on in the evening. Why would it smoke less then? A real shame and a disservice, so that lost another star. The location was another problem. It sits along a busy, noisy main road. If we'd known, we never would have booked, and that's the third star lost. We checked out at 9, an hour early, then realized half an hour later that we'd forgotten to empty the refrigerator. We sent a text, but had no signal in a nearby valley, so it arrived around 10:15. They said the fridge had already been emptied and the contents thrown away. We were upset that no one had called to tell us or ask first. The way they handled our disappointment wasn't polite. Less than an hour after getting the keys, my understandably upset partner spoke to the owner and asked if she could try to recover the food. They said she was rude in a voicemail, though she was upset and annoyed but not disrespectful. They had it wrong. In the end, they recovered almost everything and put it in a box outside the door. So it hadn't all been thrown away. Why keep saying nothing could be recovered? That's the fourth star lost.
