4/10
The beds were large and comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and there was a pool to cool off in. They could also provide food for people with allergies and vegans. But the pool was dirty, the road noise never let up, and the shower was tiny, about 70x70 cm. Breakfast was the same every day, with poor quality cheese and coffee, and dinner was boring, so eating out is a better idea. The breakfast and dinner service was ultra rude, with angry comments about everything. Only one woman at reception was nice and positive. The four star hotel rating is just for show. This is a two star hotel.

The food was very good, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. My room was clean, looked after well, and was very nice. No complaints.

This hotel doesn’t feel like a four star place.

We celebrated my parents’ Golden Wedding Anniversary in the largest hall, and had a wonderful time. The room was elegant and grand, the food was delicious, and the staff and service were outstanding. The hotel is just steps from Varese and Lake Maggiore, with a large hall for all kinds of important events. We also arranged an oriental welcome buffet for our guests through the hotel’s partnership with MIZU restaurant, a long-time favorite of ours in the province. Everyone on staff was helpful and courteous. We’ll be back soon. Thank you for everything!
