We were there with a big group, and some people had good rooms and no complaints. My friend and I ended up in room 106, though, and it was awful. There was a horrible smell as soon as we walked in, like cigarettes and mold masked with perfume. It was unbearable. Opening the window helped a little for a while, but the smell returned after the cleaners came. It kept coming back over the next few days, and the room still smelled of cigarettes and mold. The owner was very nice when we contacted him, but his only suggestion was to spray more perfume, which didn’t solve it. We cancelled the cleaners after the first day because their perfume made things worse. The hotel lobby did have a few utensils and a kettle. It’s okay for a short stay, but nothing glamorous.

The place itself was nice, and I had no other complaints. In room 109, though, the shower leaked every time I used it, and I sometimes saw ants crawling up and down a wall. I’m pretty sure black mold was starting to form on the ceiling above the shower. It was acceptable overall.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the service was amazingly helpful. I needed to arrange travel to Palermo, and the lady patiently answered all my messages about the buses. She was so kind. I’ll be back!

A shuttle to Comiso airport is available, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect place to spend the night before a morning flight.

We got in very late, but they welcomed us so kindly. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were small but comfortable, with air conditioning.
