What a great place. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the boat ticket office is right across the way. The front desk staff were especially helpful, which is why I’m giving five stars. Claudia, Cristina and Francesca all helped with booking taxis and figuring out transport to different spots and reservations around the lake. We’ll definitely stay at the Alberto Terminus again when we’re back in Como.

The station is close by, and the funicular to Brunate is about a 10-minute walk. We found it easy to get everywhere from here, and the staff were really helpful with recommendations. They can also provide gluten-free breakfast options if you ask.

Breakfast was lovely, with a nice lake view, and the staff were wonderful. This little boutique hotel is really cute and felt much better than its four stars. My boyfriend was so sick with the flu that he was feverishly hallucinating at night, and they brought us a kettle and two sweet cups so we could make tea. We had things to do in Milan but chose to stay here for the peace and quiet. I’d give it six stars if I could ❤️

There was nowhere to put a large suitcase, and the sink was tiny. The shower leaked, and the comforter was too small for the bed. We could hear people walking overhead all night, and coffee or tea wasn’t available before 7 a.m. Even with a do-not-disturb sign on the door while we were out, someone came in, made the bed, and closed the suitcase that was on it, leaving our clothes wrinkled. The room was small and uncomfortable, and it wasn’t a good experience.

The breakfast area had such a nice atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and provided quality service. I really enjoyed my stay at this charming boutique hotel and would come back if I visit Como again. 🫶
