We were greeted at the door by the manager, Yaiza, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She shared useful tips for seeing Lake Como and the nearby towns. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel exceeded what we expected. Getting around is easy: it’s about a seven-minute walk from the train station and eight minutes from the ferries. There’s also a bus route two blocks away if you’d rather avoid the ferry queues and travel north along either side of the lake. Yaiza’s tip was to stay in Como and visit Bellagio, Varenna, Lenno, Menaggio, and the other lake towns as day trips. They’re small enough to see in a day, and staying put means you don’t have to lug big bags onto a crowded ferry or bus. We’d gladly use this as our base for future trips to Lake Como.

The rooms are modern and clean, while the old building still has plenty of historic charm. It’s in a great location, and Beatrice was so kind and helpful.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a great kitchen and living area, a big bathroom, a comfortable bed, and even a cute balcony. It’s in a perfect spot near the lake, with amenities all around and the station about a seven-minute walk away. The host was friendly and explained what we could do nearby. It was really quiet, with no street noise, though we could hear a dog. We absolutely loved staying here, 10/10, and would highly recommend it.

My reservation was cancelled just a month before the trip, leaving very little available and forcing me to look at much more expensive hotels. I wouldn’t book here because they didn’t honor my reservation and treated me disrespectfully. Edit: The owner says that’s completely false, but I have the cancellation email as written proof and am happy to share it with anyone interested. Don’t book with these liars.

The apartment was clean and roomy, with nice amenities, and the location made it easy to get around Como and reach some great restaurants. My wife and I had a lovely two-night stay here in the heart of the city. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting.
