Avenue Boutique Hotel

The hotel is right in the middle of Como, so the shops, sights, port, stations, parks, and bars are all just a few minutes away. That central spot also means you may hear noise from nearby bars and restaurants in some rooms at night, which could bother light sleepers or anyone hoping for an early night. My bed felt a bit too firm for me, though that comes down to personal preference. Inside, the bright contemporary décor gives the place a fresh, intimate feel. The food was lovely and beautifully presented, and the staff at every level were friendly, professional, and quick to respond to what we needed. The owners and team were attentive, and I left feeling they’d sort out any small issues. I’d be happy to return.

We could walk from the hotel to the lake, the shops, and the bus station. Our room was clean, and the Rituals products were a nice touch. Staff were really friendly and helpful, even walking us to the room and offering welcome drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent for both quality and quantity, and the stay felt like great value.

We had a wonderful trip and would come back. The hotel was very clean, and everyone there was amazing. We’re from the US and are used to air conditioning, but it had been switched off between seasons. As soon as we asked, they turned it on in our room. LILLIANA was the absolute best. She understood what we needed and called an electrician to come out as soon as possible. She’s smart, kind, considerate, and thoughtful about the needs of people from all over. Wise beyond her years. We had a lovely week here. Our deluxe double was small, but it had everything we needed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The whole place was spotless. Staff were helpful, polite, and caring, and breakfast had a superb choice of hot and cold food. If you’re staying for the F1, ask about their excellent packed lunches. I’d happily recommend the hotel.
