Violeta, the Front Desk Manager, made our stay especially memorable. She was warm and professional, helped plan our day trips to Tremezzo and Bellagio, arranged taxis, and was always on hand with answers. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and her service was first-class. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and we felt at home throughout our stay. DBH Duomo Boutique Hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Lake Como and the surrounding towns. Our room was modern, spacious, and clean, with beautiful high ceilings. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend it, would stay here again when I return, and will tell friends and family about it. Thank you for such a wonderful visit!

We felt welcome throughout our stay, and breakfast was available until 10 AM. The rooms were quiet and nice, the service very friendly, and the boutique hotel itself lovely. The location couldn’t be better. We really enjoyed our visit.
Uff, the reception experience was disgusting. There’s no way I’d call this a four-star hotel. We called on November 1 to arrange a two-night, three-day stay and needed three rooms. After a couple of calls, reception suggested we book once we arrived, but didn’t confirm that three rooms were available. We were traveling with two infants and two senior citizens and got there at 8 PM. The receptionist then told us there were only two standard rooms, so we had to take a suite as the third room. If they’d told us that on the phone, we’d have gone elsewhere. It was late and we had no real choice, so we took the suite and two standard rooms. The next day I saw three standard rooms listed on their website and asked to move out of the suite. They rudely refused. The suite was extremely uncomfortable, and with an infant it was difficult going up and down two floors. The sales staff seem greedy to me, and I suspect they try different tricks to push suites that otherwise stay unsold. Be careful and avoid booking here. Their sales team was senseless and the service didn’t feel four-star at all. I wrote to management about what happened while we were still staying there, but they didn’t care. Management seemed local and unconcerned about their reputation or guest experience. We also needed to extend by a couple of nights because of an infant’s health issues, and reception was very unaccommodating. They wanted payment first and, even after we’d stayed two nights, said they’d extend only if we paid immediately. They wouldn’t hold the rooms even for a few minutes. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. They were thoroughly unprofessional, and I’d have given a negative rating if I could for the way we were treated throughout the stay.
The hotel was brand new and beautiful, and the location is hard to beat. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We’d stay here again without hesitation.
We were there for just one night, and it was all perfect. The room was completely clean, and breakfast had delicious options for all sorts of tastes and diets. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, too. It was a great experience, and we definitely recommend it.
