The flat was lovely, with a great view of the cathedral, and its central location couldn’t be better. Nick was especially great, very customer-focused, flexible, and always ready to find a solution. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Grazie mille Nick 🇮🇹

I never got inside the apartment, so I can’t comment on the place itself. I booked it and, due to an honest mistake, hadn’t realized check-in ended at 6pm. On arrival day, I told the host I was running late because my five-month-old baby was sick and screaming in the car, and we had to stop several times on the long drive from France. The owner wouldn’t let us in at 7pm, even though someone was available to open up, and refused to refund me, leaving the apartment empty while charging the full price. My feverish baby and I were stranded without internet, and I spent hours walking around Como trying to find affordable accommodation. No explanation was given for why arriving at 7pm was a problem when 6pm was the cutoff. It was a truly terrible welcome to Italy. I’m warning people not to stay here. Booking.com’s positive reviews don’t show, in my view, the many people the owners have essentially scammed and then blocked from reviewing them on the site. If you’ve already booked and come to Google to find the property, good luck. I hope you get to Como before 6pm, or you may be left on the street like a stray dog. Don’t give your money to this kind of person.

It was nicely presented and we felt very welcome. Even the sofa bed was pretty comfortable. A moka pot for coffee would be the one thing to add.

A few flights of stairs lead up to the apartment, and cleanliness could be improved. That said, I found the place cozy, spacious, comfortable, and modern, and Nick was lovely and helpful when we arrived, with good recommendations. The location is exceptional. I’ve seen the negative Google reviews and wanted to add a more recent one.
