Hotel Villa Flori

The breakfast was atrocious, all the hot food was cold and there wasn’t a fresh pastry to be seen. There’s no tea or coffee making setup in the room either, so leaving early to beat the crowds means going without caffeine. The rooms are really small, and the hotel was much noisier than we expected. The walls are paper-thin, we could even hear people in the next room using their light switches. There was a lot of road noise too, which surprised us because the hotel backs onto a busy road. They did move us to another room, which was nice, but the walls still weren’t insulated anywhere near enough.

We loved the balance here, peaceful enough to relax but still easy to get into Como town. The view from our room was breathtaking, and waking up to Lake Como each morning felt like a dream. Our stay at Hotel Villa Flori was incredible, and we can’t wait to return. Mattio at the front desk made everything easy. He arranged taxis and excursions and helped with our train travel. His hospitality made a huge difference to our stay.

Mattia from Guest Relations is what made the difference for us. Even after his shift had ended, he kept looking after guests with real professionalism, care, and kindness. That level of dedication is rare. He notices the details, anticipates what people need, and handles things calmly and warmly. It’s clear he cares about the guest experience and takes pride in his work. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, peaceful, and perfectly located, with every detail feeling carefully considered. Real luxury comes through in service as much as in design and views. Mattia is a real asset and a diamond in hospitality. Outstanding experience at Lake Como.

The lake view was breathtaking and made the stay feel special. This is a beautiful, clean, upscale hotel, with elegance and attention to detail throughout. Staff were professional, friendly, and clearly cared about guests’ comfort. There’s free parking, and the cleanliness across the hotel was exceptionally high. An outstanding stay, highly recommended.
