Evenings on the terrace were a highlight, with the village and valley spread out below and stars overhead. We found this quiet, almost magical B&B by chance in a mountain village just a few kilometers from Isernia. Alba and Nicola made us feel like friends right away. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We spent three lovely days relaxing in the cool air, though you'll want a sweater at night. A 10 hardly covers it. Go to Conca Casale.

There's plenty of beautiful things to discover nearby, and we'd love to come back. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Nicola and his wife were so thoughtful, even bringing us a slice of freshly baked donut in the morning. Such wonderful people, and a little corner of paradise.
