Captivating 1-bed House in Conca dei Marini

I only came three times, for the spa, dinner, and a peaceful walk, but the place has stayed on my mind. The gardens have a quiet, almost heavenly feel, and you can sense the history of the old monastery dating back to the 1600s. Dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant felt like a dream, with beautiful courses and a calm, elegant atmosphere. Everyone was gracious and sincere. At the spa, Natalie greeted me so warmly, and my massage was unforgettable, the best I’ve had since visiting a five-star retreat in Naples, Florida. I wish I could remember the therapist’s name. Giuseppie welcomed me at the entrance like an old friend and gave me a gentle tour on the way to the spa. He was kind and professional, then let me explore the gardens on my own. The hotel looks simple from outside, but once you’re in the gardens, it’s a place that feels restorative, for both body and spirit.

Everything and everyone seemed to work together so well. The staff were genuinely helpful and warm, which can be hard to find even at very fancy hotels. We loved our stay and will definitely return! 🥰

We had such a wonderful honeymoon here, and hope we can come back. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the service was top notch, and there’s a complimentary shuttle to Amalfi, about a 10 minute drive away. Monastero really does deliver on its promise of relaxation and luxury. Even the little details, like the pool bag in the closet and the confession-style room service order, feel thoughtfully tailored to the experience. A five-star rating hardly says enough.

I’ve stayed here twice and still can’t think of a thing to fault. The whole property, the team, and the stay are world class. It’s far more than a hotel and spa, it’s an amazing experience unlike anywhere else I’ve been, and one that stays with you.
