La Conca Azzurra

It was so peaceful here, and the sunrise and grotto beneath the hotel made the place feel special. The restaurant at night was outstanding, private, intimate and calm. I think the gnocchi with shrimp tartar was what we had, and it was 100/10. Breakfast was simple, delicious and so good. The quality of the food and the calm atmosphere made me really happy. This was the most expensive hotel I’ve ever paid for, but I felt it was worth every penny. There’s no parking during the day, though the staff are helpful if you communicate with them. Pietro was such a good guy and helped us when we arrived super late. The owner was nice too, on site and clearly cares about the business. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on the coast, close enough to reach the beach towns. My bestie and I had the best time and already miss it. We stumbled across this hotel almost by chance and it turned out to be superb. The food and wine were great, and the service made us feel like family.

Just a 10-minute drive from busy Amalfi, this peaceful hotel had a sea view room with a divine view. Breakfast was a real treat, thanks to the chef. No overwhelming buffet, just fresh pastries and eggs fried to order, both delicious. For a quiet stay with lovely views and a breakfast you’ll remember, I highly recommend it.

Carmen at the front desk organized our excursions and suggested options that were just right for us. At dinner each evening in the hotel Resteraunt, Filippo at Calajanara would recommend and choose a wine, and every pick was perfect. The owner, Salvatore, is gracious and welcoming, and the hotel is incredible value for the price. I’ve stayed here a couple of times already and plan to keep coming back every year.
