Our planned three-night visit turned into an awful two hours. The room looked nothing like the pictures. It smelled bad as soon as we walked in, was very dirty, and was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning didn’t work. The sofa had stains and a stale smell, and I had to clean the table on the shared balcony before I could sit there. Outside smelled bad too, and I found a dead bird in a flower box. We called booking.com because the room was so far below what we expected. There was nobody at the hotel to speak to first. booking.com contacted the manager, who said he would come check the room, but he never showed up. We went downstairs to find him. He was angry, wouldn’t speak to my boyfriend, yelled, and brought up unrelated issues, then blamed us. He said we weren’t allowed to check in before 18:30 and claimed our earlier check-in was why the room wasn’t clean, even though we’d been told the cleaner would be finished when we arrived. I called booking.com again. We’d booked a room with air conditioning, but they said it had somehow disappeared from the list of facilities, so they couldn’t help. The manager refused to refund anything. We paid 240 euros for three days and stayed less than two hours, including an hour and a half spent on the phone with booking.com. Don’t stay here. We’d booked because some reviews looked good, but our experience was horrible.

Avoid this place. The room was dirty, and the air conditioner, or whatever that thing in the room was, was filthy and didn’t work. The owner wouldn’t discuss it or do anything to fix it.

We paid for four nights but left after just one because the room was in such poor condition and hygiene was unacceptable. Even before getting inside, the dirty entrance and spiral stairs made us doubt that cleanliness mattered. The balcony tables and chairs were dirty too, and there was a bad smell near the room. Inside, the floor had dirty patches, and there was dust and hair under the coffee table. We found dirt and hair in the towel drawers, hair on the sheets, cobwebs in the loft, a dirty windowsill, and grime inside the mini fridge. The furniture and bathroom door were damaged and stained. The coffee maker had no water, and the two bottles in the mini fridge were warm because it wasn’t working properly. There were two fans, but they couldn’t keep the hot room cool. The whole stay was so disappointing that we cut it short. We won’t return or recommend this guesthouse to anyone who expects cleanliness and attention to detail.

There was a musty, damp smell as soon as we entered. The floor was stained and dirty, with dust and hair around the room, including on the bathmat and bedside table. Hair was plainly visible on the black sheets, and the hygiene felt poor. Given the price, we expected basic cleanliness, working facilities, and comfort. We found none of that, and can’t recommend the property in the condition we encountered.
