Euro Hotel Residence

The hotel is in a quiet area, though it’s far from the city center and you really need a car to get around. Breakfast was varied and good, with options for different tastes. The bathroom could use renovation since some fixtures are outdated and don’t work properly. The air conditioning also kept cutting out, especially when it was warm, and that made the stay less comfortable.

I was glad this was a work trip and I wasn't paying for the stay myself. The rooms are basic but cover the essentials, and the decor is old throughout. The place could use a facelift. There isn't much around in the way of amenities, and the hotel is off a busy main road. The restaurant next door is the best nearby option, but its steaks and seafood are overpriced, as are the few Italian dishes. Honestly, I don't see what makes this a four-star hotel. I'd call it three stars at best.

I stayed here on a work trip with my company, and my T shirt went missing from my room. A colleague in another room on the same floor also had his van key stolen, even though the van itself was back home in England. When we raised it, the hotel said they hadn't found anything, took days to respond, and eventually stopped answering us. The customer service was shocking and they were no help. Awful hotel. Avoid it.

The price was reasonable when I stayed, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were friendly. It was a great place to stay.
