Point Hotel Conselve

The staff were helpful, easy to talk to, and fine overall. The rest of the stay was a nightmare. My room was shabby and dirty, with a musty smell. The air conditioning and safe didn't work, and there was no Wi-Fi signal in the room. Calling this a four-star hotel is a joke. Even one star would be too generous. Ever felt like scratching yourself just from being somewhere filthy? Booking a room here would be one way to find out.

The receptionist was very nice and worked hard, and I liked how quiet the area was. It could be a good escape from people for a while. The sights were pretty whatever, though I did get a nice sunset view. A few things were frustrating: the second floor was supposed to have free Wi-Fi, but it showed as unavailable when I tried to connect. The rooms have ugly yellow walls with no wallpaper, and the TV is small and stuck on a shelf where it's hard to watch. The shower worked, but the water sprayed out to the sides instead of the middle.

We arrived to check in during the evening, but there was no hot water for a shower. They blamed it on having lots of guests and said it wasn't heating up. If they knew this was happening, they needed to fix it instead of just telling us to wait.

The room had only two outlets for four of us, and the fridge and carpet were dirty. We also struggled to open the door every single time. The sheets felt like paper. In the bathroom, it smelled like a dead animal and the toilet seat was broken. We initially joked that it was a free roller coaster, but it quickly became uncomfortable and annoying. The shower was filthy and looked kind of moldy: its movable walls wouldn't move, the drain didn't drain, and the leaking showerhead sprayed water everywhere, even outside the shower. The staff were nice and tried to sort out the Wi-Fi when we arrived, but at checkout the person at reception was mean and unpleasant. The food wasn't great either. The whole experience was awful, and my three friends and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
