The thermal water itself is pleasant, but I couldn’t relax with people eating and drinking alcohol in the pools. The lifeguards didn’t step in, so there was constant noise and no real sense of calm. The hotel was disappointing as well. The rooms weren’t maintained well and the soundproofing was poor. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the towels and bathrobes were old and worn. Breakfast was repetitive, with the same limited choices every day.

The hotel is in a very quiet little village. Across the road there’s a lovely family-run restaurant, where we ate every night. Hotel staff were excellent, attentive, and very helpful.

Horrible customer service. Our room had no air conditioning, and the shower kept flooding. They didn’t seem to care, just gave us a fan and still charged full price. The mini fridge for water wasn’t working either. One room had mold all over the shower, and another had mold in the blow dryer. We had to leave the window open for air, but noise from downstairs kept us awake all night. Horrible. Don’t stay here!

We just went back, and it’s still as good as ever. The hot water cures almost every ailment! Such a great place to rest for a few days. The spring water comes up from underground at about 70 degrees and has to be cooled before it reaches the baths. The main bath is around 40 degrees, perfect for relaxing, while the lower one is about 60 degrees, so be very careful in there. Part of the fun in the main bath is gathering the special mud and putting it on your face, as it’s said to be good for the skin. I’ve been twice and loved it both times. The service is great, the rooms are really comfortable, and the food is good too. This place is special and really worth a visit.
