Helios Room

The location worked really well for getting to Alberobello, Monopoli, and Polignano, and there are plenty of good restaurants in town if you’d rather not drive. The room and bathroom were clean when we arrived. Just note that the bathroom is next to the room, not inside it, and neither space is cleaned during your stay. I assumed someone would come by during our 9 days, but after I called, I was told the person in charge only comes every 9 days to empty the bins and top up the toilet paper. Booking through Booking was very smooth, maybe a bit over the top: we had to send selfies with valid IDs, and all communication, including the front door codes, came by email or WhatsApp. There’s no parking at the apartment, which is in the pedestrian center, but there are several free parking areas outside it.

Right in the center, with spotless rooms and such lovely staff. The place is styled with care down to the little details. I’d happily come back!

We’ll be back soon. The place is well served and in a great spot for reaching Polignano, Monopoli, and Alberobello. The staff were fantastic and so kind, especially Gennaro, the owner.

Ms. Gina was attentive and gave us great advice. The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and clean, and the location made getting around easy.
