Masseria Capocaccia

The landscape along the way won me over first. The peaceful masseria sits among olive groves and is well placed for visiting nearby towns. It’s a beautiful trullo, and the warm hospitality is part of the experience. Pets are welcome, and the owners have pets of their own. The rooms are simple, comfortable, fresh, and welcoming. I’m glad they’ve chosen not to put televisions in the rooms. People can sit together outside and talk instead. The home cooking is tasty, with traditional dishes.

The setting is special, with countryside, olive trees, horses, and dogs and cats in the yard. The property, including the trulli, has been renovated with taste. Rooms are spacious and clean, though the furnishings are plain, they work well. Breakfast was good, and dinner is available too.

The hostess is such a fun person, and she cooks really well. We had a wonderful time here, and the place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Its location is also a great base for seeing Puglia’s loveliest spots. I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a few stress-free days away from the crowds. It feels like being spoiled. We’ll be back.

If you want the experience of sleeping in an old TRULLO, this is a great spot. It isn't a five-star place, but it's family-run and wonderfully peaceful.
