Villa Casole Short Lets

If you have a car, this is a great base in Salento. It’s about 15 minutes from the sea, but close to some of the area’s most beautiful beaches. Giuseppe's villa has private parking and a washing machine. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the garden or brought to your room, with traditional pastries and delicious Quarta coffee. Everything was impeccable.

I arranged a stay for my relatives around my wedding, including the day before, the day itself, and the day after. The property is lovely and spotlessly clean, with the rooms cleaned to perfection every day. There’s a plentiful breakfast, lots of space, and a beautifully kept, enchanting garden. Above all, the owner is wonderful, does his job well, and is very helpful. 10!!!!!!

The croissants, yogurt, and drinks for breakfast were delicious. The owner was very friendly and spoke English, and the property is clearly cared for with a lot of love. The apartment is spacious, with an average style of furnishings. The kitchen has what you need for cooking, though it could use an update, and some wooden boards were moldy. There were dead mosquitoes stuck to the bedroom walls, and the toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived. Even though it was meant to be non-smoking, the apartment smelled strongly of smoke. There were also cigarette butts scattered here and there.

The included breakfast was typical Italian fare, with a Cornetto, coffee, and yogurt. There’s a Conad supermarket just 1 km away, and the property is attractive and well-kept from the outside, with a pleasant holiday feel. A few easily fixable things made our stay feel unclean. The booked non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke, and there were cigarette butts in the ashtray on the garden table and in the grass by the terrace. That was inconvenient with a small child. The toilet still had signs of the previous guest, and crushed mosquitoes looked like they’d been stuck to the wall for ages. With a little more attention to detail, this could be a wonderful place to stay. We're keeping our fingers crossed!
